Greetings everyone! It's been a long while since this group was given a proper journal! So allow me to fix that...
First of all I'd like to start off by welcoming all of the new members and contributors that have become a part of the group since our last journal! It's a great honor to manage a group full of talented and dedicated fans/artists such as yourselves! I'm sure Dean Dodrill (our game's developer) is happy to see the amazing fan base that follows his work, and how far this group has come to bring his universe to the infinite limits of our imaginations.
For those of you who don't know me, I have been a Dust fan since it's debut on the Xbox 360. Upon finishing the game I began pursuing my hobby of art, creating numerous pieces of fan art for the game as well as original characters. (especially of nimbats!) I am proud of the small reputation I had as a fan artist for the game and am extremely honored, once again, to be running the largest fan group on DA for my favorite game of all time.
Feel free to stop by and say hello sometime! I'm a really friendly person and I don't like biting people's faces off! Which is usually good!
Now for the main point of this journal!
I just wanted to comment and say that the art that is being submitted to this group is fantastic. So many neat and original pieces have passed through the gallery, each one being unique in it's own way, and it makes me happy to see that people like you are keeping this game's universe alive with your countless thoughts, stories, and ideas! A majority of this fan base relies on the products that this site is pumping out to help feed their need for Dust material. The flow of material, however, has been slowed ever since my time away from DA. That reason is because of the lack of my personal submissions. I used to make it my goal to go out and scavenge for all of the Dust art I could get my hands on from DA and request it to be a part of the group, but ever since my break, the group had to rely on people manually submitting their artwork. I am sorry for that and I hope that soon I can get back into the routine, but until then, if you see a piece of work that ISN'T a part of the gallery yet, please feel free to submit it by clicking the "add to group" icon on the right-hand side of the page!
Thank you for making this fan base what it is today!
